Today’s recipe is a super smoothie respectively juice, so (Attention, new word creation!) I call it a „Smooce“.

Unfortunately I have no juicer (yet), so I buy vegetable juices in the organic supermarket. I often mix these with my smoothies, so I have more diversity, since not everything you can juice, you can also hit well in the blender.

Today I will show you a „Smooce“ with carrot juice. The color is not the only highlight, it also tastes fantastic (boyfriend-approved!).

It is a great start to the day, because it is full of vitamins (especially vitamin C, many B vitamins, vitamin E and pro-vitamin A), minerals (calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, potassium, sodium), fiber, secondary plant substances (e.g. beta-carotene). It really strengthens your immune system,  that’s why this Smooce is also great in winter, when everybody around us is sick.

Here are the ingredients for two big glasses:

  • 500 ml carrot juice
  • 1 apple
  • 1 nectarine
  • Juice of one lemon
  • a small piece of ginger (depending on preference)

Throw all ingredients into the blender, mix it 30 seconds at full speed, and that’s it. I hope you like it as much as I do!
