Today, I have another delicious smoothie for you. Actually, a smoothie bowl. Depending on how thick you like it, you can use some more liquid, so you can drink the whole thing, but this recipe is supposed to make a thick smoothie to eat with granola, muesli etc.
The most important ingredient today is açaí powder. One of the superfoods (that are properly packed with vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, essential fatty acids) that still tastes really good (not all superfood powders taste that good ;-))! I like to use it with berries, since acai is also a berry and that fits just great.
So here’s the recipe for my beautiful, healthy Acai Smoothie Bowl:
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk / rice milk / almond milk
- 2 dates
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon acai powder
- Blend berries, banana, coconut milk and dates in a blender until a homogeneous mass is formed. Season to taste with maple syrup and add acai powder, mix again briefly and place in a bowl.
- Add cereals, nuts, seeds etc. whatever you like. Done.
