If you know how much food is thrown away every day around the world, just because it doesn’t meet the size or color pattern of the supermarkets, the campaign of the French supermarket Intermarché was long overdue and it quite suits my taste!
Ugly, „inglorious“ fruit and vegetables were „rescued“ by Intermarché and sold 30% cheaper than the usual glossy vegetables in their supermarket stores. Great enough already, but it was additionally accompanied by a brilliant and funny campaign and hopefully made people think about food waste.
I am really amazed and would love to see more promotions like that! Especially in German supermarkets like REWE, Aldi etc. ;-)
